Father attending his son’s six and under football game shot and killed in Georgia
This week a Father of a six and under football player was shot and killed in Georgia. According to reports, there was a shooting on Tuesday Night at the Jennifer Ross Soccer Complex, and according to the police report the victim was a Father of the young six and under football players.
Rajah Young, 27, was injured in the shooting and was taken to the hospital where he later died.
According to WTOC.com, a statement that was sent to the Savannah United players said
“This past Tuesday, October 12, 2021, after a 6 under football game of the remaining teams, a parent of one of the players was shot and killed in the parking lot. Police have determined this was a targeted act of violence against one individual and unrelated to the incident that occurred on October 9th.”
Just a few days prior there was an altercation between another set of parents that resulted in them both drawing their guns. No children were injured during the incident.
Mario Wallace a 26 year old was arrested and is being booked for murder.
Please pray for the little football player and the family of Mr. Young. No one wins in gun violence.
