Could the Seattle Seahawks look into adding Cam Newton now that Russell Wilson is hurt?
Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said during the interview on Monday that they have spoke to Cam Newton following the injury to starting quarterback Russell Wilson.
The Seahawks are a very good football team but have fallen short with Geno Smith at the helm.
It was announced on the 16th of October that Cam Newton is now fully vaccinated. Newton is not required to wait five days to sign with a team which is huge news.
Newton could be a great fit for the Seahawks. As of right now Russell Wilson is only banged up with a finger injury, but he is not expected to miss the entire year. Cam said in a YouTube video that several teams have expressed interest but did not get into details.
No quarterback has truly went down for the year yet, when that happens I would not be shocked if Cam receives calls.
