Nebraska teen football player Bryshawn Williams was the victim of a fatal car crash

We are learning that a 16 year-old Sophomore football player at Lincoln High School in Nebraska was the victim of a fatal crash on Tuesday Morning. Williams was a 6’3, 192 pound prospect that wore number 32. He was in the class of 2024 according to his Hudl page.

According to reports, a 17-year-old male was operating a vehicle on North 70th Street near Fletcher Avenue in Lincoln, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 12:45 a.m. Tuesday. The vehicle then came into contact with a substantial tree.

The crash happened around 12:45 a.m., the Lincoln Journal Star reported. Police said Bryshawn Williams, died when the car he was a passenger in crashed into a tree.

The 17 year old driver and two other passengers — a 16-year-old girl and a 20-year-old man — were taken to hospitals with serious injuries.

We are praying for the Williams family and friends.
