Is Le’Veon Bell washed up? Does he still have it? | If he does the Ravens struck gold

The Baltimore Ravens signed the the 29-year old running back to their practice squad. Can he return to his Steelers form? If he can they are going to be good.

Le’Veon Bell has not been the star he once was. Bell was a superstar in the NFL from 2013-2017, but he then elected to sit out the 2018 season due to a contract dispute. Bell has never returned to form.

Yesterday, The Baltimore Ravens signed the the 29-year old running back to their practice squad. Yes, you read that right. We are talking about a former Pro Bowl caliber running back who was just signed to a teams practice squad.

Not just any team either, the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens were expected to have a great backfield this year, until JK Dobbins went down, then recently Justice Hill suffered an injury. The Ravens could end up calling up the former Steelers running back in week 1.

Bell recently spent time with the Jets and Chiefs before sitting out waiting for a call.

I do not know what we can expect out of Bell, but if the 29 year old still has some juice, he is going to help out Lamar Jackson. Bell has great hands out the back-field and has good speed.

The Ravens do not have a star running back, so at this point, Bell could be coming into a great role for this upcoming year. The question is, will he play like he did in New York and Kansas City, or will we see the Steelers version break out?
