Arizona Cardinals are winning but their QB Kyler Murray is frustrated
Kyler Murray and they Arizona Cardinals are 2-0 but they had a nail biter last week against the Minnesota Vikings and that flustered their starting quarterback.
Murray is frustrated with the self inflicted penalties, sacks and interceptions against the Vikings.
“I see it all out there,” Murray said. “I understand our offense, the guys understand what we’re trying to do, so we’re moving as one for the most part.”
“I tell you all the time, it comes down to shooting ourselves in the foot and stopping ourselves,” Murray said. “We score, it feels easy and it feels fun. And then when we turn the ball over, negative plays, it’s like, ‘Damn, that s— feels ugly.’ But it is what it is. We have to continue to get better and continue to practice.”
“Oh, yeah, I’m definitely frustrated,” Murray said. “But, at the end of the day we got the dub so that’s really all that matters. We’re 1-0 [this week]. This is the NFL. It’s not easy to win and we’re 2-0 [overall].
“So, on to the next week. Soak it up, accept it, what happened today, and then we’re going to Jacksonville next week.”
There could be a huge problem this week though. According to Dr. Jesse Morse of the Fantasy Doctors, DeAndre Hopkins is banged up and may need to rest.
The one Arizona Athlete that stepped up was roomie Rondale Moore! It was a nice surprise last week with Hopkins hurt. He could end up playing a big role in week 3. The Cardinals play the Jaguars. If they end up losing to the Jaguars Murray should be frustrated, but I have a feeling they are going to walk out of the week 3-0.
