Cincinnati Bengals rookie wide receiver had a rough preseason, but can he rebound? Many fantasy football players are hoping he balls out this season. Hopefully, he is able to wake up, because the former star wide out at LSU looked horrible in pre-season.

Chase let four of his five targets in the pre-season hit the ground. Many Bengals fans are upset because they wanted the team to draft an offensive lineman to protect Joe Burrow, but Sewell has not looked that great either according to one former NFL scout.

When Chase was asked about his drops, he said it was due to his lack of focus.

“Lack of focus,” Chase said. “I didn’t let the ball in. Lack of concentration, just watching the ball come into my hands was just lacking [on my part].”

Chase has everything you are looking for in a super star receiver, but with the off-the-field issues he had throughout the pre-season with this pregnant girlfriend claiming he put his hands on her, he may have had other things on his mind. If he cannot focus quickly, he could kill your hopes of winning the fantasy football championship.
