Dear Aaron Rodgers, I am not off your back

Okay…okay…okay…Aaron Rodgers, you showed the world you gave a damn and cared about your team for the first time in nine months, do you want a medal? 

Do you honestly think by winning one game after your heart was not in it at all against the Saints is going to get everyone off your back?

You have underestimated me #12. Every night you go to bed, you should hit your knees and be thankful I am not the general manager (GM) in Green Bay, because your ass would have been cut the night of the NFC Championship game, had I had my finger on the trigger. 

Your post-game remarks that day were so premeditated and so well thought out, when you basically undermined the stability of the entire organization – – it almost makes me wonder if you were even trying to win that game against Tampa Bay or if your plan to play “arm-chair GM,” was even greater than any of us thought or you would care to admit?

Then you started discouraging free agents from coming to Green Bay…

Then you tried to do everything in your power to throw current team GM Brian Gutekunst under the bus, and basically get him fired by trying to get the football world to second-guess his roster moves…

Then you got out of your lane and pretty much demanded to bring back wide receiver Randall Cobb – – and even tried to lobby for linebacker Clay Matthews? Even Gutekunst said in a presser Cobb would not be back with the team had it not been for you…

Then you held your little selfish infomercial at the Packers podium and communicated you think you are entitled to ‘a little bit more say’, in personnel matters and should be at a table you have never been invited to by management? 

Then you come out and s – – – the bed against New Orleans 38-3…

Then you and your team’s defense puts you down 17-14 to Detroit at halftime and if it had not been for the rain, you might have lost and been 0-2 and you think you got “the trolls” off your back as you so eloquently said? 

As someone such as yourself who has hosted a game show, let me help you – – game show buzzer sound – – I am sorry, you are incorrect Aaron. 

I am coming – – hard…

Harder than any pass rusher you have ever faced. I have more ink than you have strength left in your arm, and I have a platform that is not controlled by the league – – and a pretty big audience too. 

It is going to take a lot more than you deciding for the first time in nine months that you suddenly give a damn again about the Packers, the city of Green Bay or the state of Wisconsin to get me off your back. 

I realize you still have what it takes and you still have the arm as a quarterback, but your heart for the game is flickering like a candle in the wind and as far as your agenda, it is not in the best interest of the team – – you can forget about that. You are not going to become the next GM of the Green Bay Packers, so you can quit trying to position yourself for it since the clock is running out on your playing career.

I mean that is why you are trying to undermine Gutekunst and get yourself involved in personnel matters right?
