FIVE BOLD TRADE PREDICTIONS | Odell Beckham Jr to the Cardinals?

Odell Beckham Jr getting dealt? Could you imagine him getting dealt to the Cardinals in exchange for speed burner Andy Isabella and draft picks?

NFL teams are expected to make their final cut on August 31st. It will be interesting to see who is all cut, because there are some really solid players that could be cap casualties. I wanted to put together a piece on predicting a few trades that happen before the August 31st cut down date. Let’s get to work.

Andy Isabella traded to the Browns for Odell Beckham Jr and multiple picks – The Browns did well last year without Odell Beckham Jr and the Cardinals are in win now mode, and this gives them the best receiving core in football. They would end up with D-Hop, AJ Green and OBJ with Christian Kirk and Rondale Moore of the bench. JEEZ

Cody Ford traded to the Jaguars – The Jacksonville Jaguars need offensive lineman to protect Trevor Lawrence and Ford is a young player that has not truly blossomed. The former 2nd round pick could revitalize his career by protecting the first overall pick. The Bills love Jamil Douglas which makes Ford expendable.

David Johnson traded to the Falcons – The Falcons land the former standout running back on the cheap and the Texans actually pay some of his cap space to help facilitate the deal. Johnson lands on the Falcons whose starter is Mike Davis. This gives the Falcons some depth at the position.

Derek Barnett traded to the Jets – The Jets just lost Carl Lawson for the year, and the Eagles have Ryan Kerrigan waiting in the wing. I think the Eagles trade away their former high draft pick to the Jets for a decent return. The Jets land a pass rusher who can come in and produce while Lawson heals.

Ryan Santoso traded to the Rams – The Giants have two great kickers right now in Graham Gano and Ryan Santoso and the Rams are going to be scoring a lot. They need a reliable kicker. Santoso is that guy. Santoso has consistently shown a strong and accurate leg, splitting the uprights on several field goal tries from 55 yards and beyond, both during practices at MetLife Stadium and at the team’s facility.
