The Dolphins should absolutely pull the trigger and trade for Deshaun Watson | All they need to do is protect themselves

I have been watching football a long time, and hear me out. Deshaun Watson is a beast, he is one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL, that is a true statement, but there are rumors swirling that he could be on the move.

A report just came out that the Dolphins are the front runners, and get this the Texans want 3 1st round picks and 2 second-round picks. If any team gives that up including the Dolphins they are not smart, unless the picks are protected.

Watson may not play a snap this year. He currently has an active investigation, and if I am a team I want protection. Hear me out. I would trade the three first-round picks and the 2 second-round picks to the Texans, but I would have terms to the agreement. Hear me out.

Right now, Watson could be facing prison time. The Texans do not want anything else to do with it. The Dolphins would be dumb not to take Watson, under these circumstances. We will give you three first round picks and 2 second round picks, but if he is arrested and charged for any of the crimes, the deal is only for a first round pick.

This way the Dolphins land their future franchise QB and the pressure goes back on the Texans. The Dolphins could be in a huge win/win situation if they word it right.
