This is not getting better for Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson. The police were investigating the case of the star quarterback but now the FBI is entering the picture.
According to the attorney representing the 20 plus female massage therapists, the FBI is now involved.
In an interview with League of Justice & Amy Dash, Buzbee says FBI agents have spoken with him and Watson’s accusers on multiple occasions over the past few days.
“They contacted me and I’ve met with them three times now and now they’ve met with several of the plaintiffs in the case,” Buzbee said.
This is not looking good, but Watson’s attorney fired back saying there is no reason to believe the FBI is investigating Deshaun.
“I have absolutely no reason to believe that Deshaun is being investigated by the FBI. Mr. Buzbee’s comments are just part of a long, continuing pattern of just trying to harm Deshaun in the public perception. It is despicable conduct and I hope one day people will hold him accountable when the whole truth comes out.”
I personally cannot see why the FBI would be involved in this case, because it is a local level case at this point. The Houston Police Department is likely the only people investigating, but here is the problem. This is not looking good for Watson and his chances of seeing the field.
Teams cannot deny his talents on the field, but this off-the-field stuff is not good, and no one wants this.
What do you think? Will he play again?
