Pennsylvania High School football player collapsed and died during a scrimmage at the age of 16
A football player name Ivan Hicks Jr. died after collapsing during a scrimmage game with his team, according to reports.
The West Catholic Prep School standout pass out around 5:45 pm on Tuesday while taking a water break.
The young football player was rushed to Brandywine Hospital in Coatesville, where he was pronounced dead about an hour later.
According to the weather channel, it was 88 degrees in Philadelphia on Tuesday.
There has been no cause of death as of yet but an autopsy is expected today.
