Marshawn Beard killed in a double homicide
Marshawn Beard was killed in a double homicide this week. The playmaker from Michigan was one of four people shot.

Two teenagers in Lansing, Michigan fell victim to a double homicide this week.

Marshawn Beard, the former star football player at Everett High School (16), and Damon Johnson a 19-year-old were shot around 1 am on Monday in downtown Lansing.

Johnson was found dead and Beard was rushed to the hospital were he succumbed to his injuries.

Two others were injured in the shooting as well. A 14-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy were hit.

Everett High School released this statement over the shooting:

“A thought of comfort and condolences from the Everett Football program,” the tweet read. “To his family Please accept our deepest sympathies during this very difficult time. I hope the memories you have with Marshawn comfort you. We are so sorry for your loss and are keeping you in mind.”
