What makes you a top prospect at your position  in the 2022 NFL Draft?

I have the size and the speed. I have a dog mentality and I am very competitive. My competitiveness and confidence in myself separate me from other prospects. I also have a lot of confidence in my football IQ.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

I was first interested in playing football when I was 10. My uncle Rick actually got me into football. He took me to my little cousins game, and as I watched he told me I can play next season. After that day I was hooked ever since.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

One thing NFL teams should know about me is, I’ve faced a lot of adversity. While going through that adversity I kept a smile on my face. I’ve learned that adversity is what builds character. I wouldn’t change anything because it made me who I am today. I also used it as motivation to chase my dreams.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

If I could donate to one cause in the world it would be the less fortunate. People without homes. Helping them get on their feet and start new lives. I’ve always told myself I’d build homeless shelters around the world.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

The best advice I’ve ever received was “believe in yourself and have faith”.

Who was your childhood hero?

My mom, Lashena Hyde was my childhood hero. Seeing how hard she worked everyday and the sacrifices she made. She’s still my hero

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

The most underrated teammate in my locker room is Tiffin University’s entire secondary. Justice Waller, Chrystian Watkins, Jermaine Wimpye, Caleb Streat, Torrey Hunt, Tyler Richardson, Jesse Johnson

What is your biggest pet peeve?

My biggest pet peeve is when someone has zero manners.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

The hardest moment in my life that I had to overcome was, getting surgery on my hip labrum in 2020. Covid-19 just started, finding places to do rehab was very hard. I had to teach myself to walk, run, and everything else.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

Tiffin University is a small place. The people here are wonderful. It’s special to me because it’s one big family. All the way from coaches to the professors and students.

What is your favorite snack food?

Twix

What is the best part of football?

The best part of football is the relationships and bonds that are built. The grind with your brothers every day

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

I’m a perfectionist, if I don’t know something I will learn. If there is something that I struggle with I won’t stop until I am great at it.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

I would compare myself to Vernon Hargreaves

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

I would have dinner with Jay-Z, Oprah, and Bob Marley. All these people are very successful. They have also found peace within themselves and love what they do/did.
