Lawrence North star wide receiver Jordan Jackson was shot and killed last week in Indianapolis. Please pray for the family.

Jordan Jackson had a bright future. The standout high school wide receiver from Indianapolis’ Lawrence North High School was shot and killed at the age of 17.

According to the Indy Star, Police were called to an apartment around 10:30pm on June 17th, where they pronounced the star wide receiver dead on the scene.

The police and the coroners office have officially determined it a homicide.

Jackson had a great season last year hauling in 23 receptions for 541 yards and was second on the team in receiving touchdowns with 4.

If you have any information in regards to the incident, you can call the IMPD Homicide Office at 317-327-3475 or Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-8477. Mobile tips may also be given through the P3tips app for Apple or Android phones or at CrimeTips.org.

In honor of Jordan, we at NFL Draft Diamonds wanted to share his film, because he was a star in the making. This is so sad, we are praying for his family and friends.
