A.J. Brown is so happy about Julio Jones coming to Tennessee, he is willing to give up number 11
A.J. Brown was giddy that the Titans landed Julio Jones. I mean he went out of the way to say he was willing to do anything to make Julio Jones happy.
“I’m in the works with — working with (coach Mike) Vrabel about something, about the number. I tried to switch to No. 1, it didn’t go through,” Brown said. “I’m trying to be a good teammate and look out for him and, you know, let him go out on the right foot.”
Brown told fans to hold off on buying his jersey for at least a month until he finds out what is going on.
“All the jersey purchases should stop for a while,” Brown said. “Just give it like a month until we find out what’s going on.”
Brown obviously looks up to Jones which is cool, this is a good gesture. Brown called Julio Jones a legend and a future Hall of Famer, and I cannot disagree.
