Lions head coach Dan Campbell tells Barstool Sports he wants a Pet Lion on a Big Ass Chain walking around the facility
You have to love Dan Campbell, he is a football guy. He was dead serious when he said he wanted players that bite off knee caps in his press conference as head coach and now the Lions new coach is pleading for a pet Lion at the facility.
You cannot make this up, Dan Campbell is a beast!
“I would love to literally just have a pet lion,” Campbell said. “Just a legit pet lion. On a chain — a big-ass chain.”
Barstool Sports’ “Pardon My Take” had Campbell on the show and Campbell said he even went to Sheila Ford about the idea, but said he could not get it approved.
“The problem — I don’t know if PETA is going to allow that,” Campbell said. “That’s going to be hard.”
You have to love the idea of Dan Campbell talking about biting knee caps then having a Lion walking around the facility. At the end of the day, this team is changing their culture. They are at least starting to act like a bully. That is a good thing!
