Willie Simmons shot and killed North Texas
Stephen Broderick a police officer in Texas shot and killed his wife, step daughter, and North Texas football recruit Willie Simmons. Such a tragic story.

This is a wild story, and by the sounds of it Willie Simmons the star football player in Austin, Texas was killed by his girlfriend’s step-father.

According to police, Willie Simmons, his girlfriend Alyssa Broderick (17), and her mother Amanda Broderick (35) were shot and killed in a Northwest Austin parking lot. Alyssa’s stepfather, Stephen Broderick a 41 year old former property crimes detective with Travis County Sheriff’s Office was the killer.

Stephen Broderick was expected to meet his wife for a custody visit with their young child (10). That is when Stephen Broderick reportedly opened fire. He killed everyone except his own child. The young boy was unharmed in the shooting.

The crazy part of this entire story is Stephen Broderick was arrested last year for sexual assault of a child. The detective was charged with first-degree felony sexual assault of a child (FAMILY VIOLENCE).

The sheriff’s office placed him on administrative leave without pay while the Texas Rangers Investigated the accusation. Just a few months later, Broderick snaps and kills his wife, daughter in law and Willie Simmons.

There is report that Broderick’s child who was unharmed in the shooting was the person that flagged down help, but it was too late.

Willie Simmons was committed to North Texas where he was going to shine. He was a very amazing football player and was so happy to play for the Mean Green. He will be missed, and we at NFL Draft Diamonds continue to ask that you pray for Simmons family as well as the Broderick family who lost two members as well.
