Tell us about your university/college. What is your major/minor? Did you participate in any other activities, campus organizations or internships other than football?

Northwestern is a very small campus with only 8000 undergrad students. Made football a real fraternity and built some of the best relationships with guys on the team.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?
I’m focused and intent in the moment but know when and how to make people laugh

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?
I see myself likely earning my role into a 6th man on an offensive line because I can play G and T and have also played Center in the past. I excelled at Northwestern in our gap scheme but also have experience running zone and getting out in space on screams and wide pulls.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?
Chase Young is a physical beast but enjoyed the competition against players who have deep tool bags of moves and great motors like Chase Winovich and Jonathon Cooper

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?
Chris Bergin is the most impressive of my teammates to me. He is an undersized guy in stature but makes up for it by being an incredibly hard worker and a mean football player. He is pound for pound one of the strongest guys on the team and flies around the field talking shit to everybody touching grass.

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.
My Mom raised me as a single mother and there were times that were tough but she is an incredibly hard worker and always pulled through for me and my younger brother.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?
I also played Rugby in high school and love it a lot. Rugby is one of the only sports that comes close to rivaling football for greatest team sport but it’s great when big guys get to run with the ball.

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement?
Playing in two B1G championships during college. My biggest achievement is going from a kid with one Power 5 offer to a starter in the B1G and getting to pursue my NFL dreams.

Describe one of the most memorable moments of your collegiate career.
My second game starting at home vs. Michigan. Took a 17-0 lead against them. We eventually lost but that first half was an incredible feeling.

Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?
I enjoy watching Lane Johnson and Mitchell Schwartz.

Why do you play football? Who or what motivates you the most?
Football is the greatest team sport. I enjoy the violence and physicality of football. Football has given me so much more in my life so far than I could have expected so I will continue to work hard and invest in the game of football. I want to be able to financially provide for my family.
