Former FSU Seminole standout and NFL player Geno Hayes passed away at the age of 33

Former NFL player Geno Hayes passed away tonight at the age of 33. Please keep his family in your prayers.

We have sad news to report tonight. Former Buccaneers linebacker Geno Hayes passed away.

Hayes had been battling liver disease and was under hospice care.

Hayes played college football at Florida State and would end up getting drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the sixth round of the 2008 NFL Draft.

Geno would go on to play for the Chicago Bears and Jacksonville Jaguars.
