Arizona High School football star Edward Crocker died after being thrown from car in two-car crash in Phoenix

Edward Crocker killed in two car accident
Arizona high school standout Edward Crocker was killed after being ejected from a car in Phoenix. Please pray for the Crocker family.

Edward Crocker was from California originally and he was amazing on the football field. The deep threat for South Mountain High SChool was a humble and quiet kid who just made plays on the football field.

Crocker lost his life on Tuesday afternoon after being ejected from his car during a two-car crash in Phoenix. The crash happened around 12:30 pm.

Police said a 2006 Nissan Altima driven by a 19-year-old man with two 18-year-old male passengers lost control while traveling west on Broadway Road. The car then drove into the eastbound lanes and hit a pickup truck driven by a 58-year-old man, according to AZcentral.com

One passenger, who police identified as Crocker, was thrown from the car during the crash and died at the scene, police said. Both drivers and the other 18-year-old passenger were hospitalized in serious but non-life-threatening conditions.

Police said the cause of the accident was excessive speed.

This is such a horrible loss. Crocker was a deep threat for South and had more touchdowns of 60 yards than any other player on the team. We wanted to showcase his Varsity HIghlights from his Hudl account. We at NFL Draft Diamonds are sending prayers to the Crocker family. Rest in Peace Edward.
