What do your teammates say is your best quality?
I think my teammates would say my best quality is my work ethic.

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?
I see myself as someone who’s going to come in and do everything I can to be prepared to contribute in any way possible. I feel I have flexibility scheme wise because we ran such a variety of plays at Stanford.

Any of the guys who balance the academics and athletics while having success in both impress me the most.

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.
I came into college around 265 pounds playing offensive line, so it was definitely difficult to perform how I wanted. This led me to four years of training to reach 305 pounds without getting too stiff or slow.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?
Wrestling

Graduating from Stanford. It has been a goal of mine for most of my life.

Describe one of the most memorable moments of your collegiate career.
Getting kicked off our campus due to COVID protocols and winning three games in a row on the road to end our season.

Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?
Not really, I have a number of players I watch to take bits and pieces of their game. Lately, it has been a lot of Jason Kelce, Alex Mack, and Maurkice Pouncey.

Why do you play football? Who or what motivates you the most?
I’m an obsessive competitor, and I want to see the best I can do against the best competition around.
