2021 NFL International Pathway Program Interview: Aaron Donkor, LB, Germany
Aaron Donkor the former German basketball start is hoping to be selected in the International Pathway Program by the NFL. Donkor is a 25 year old who recently began playing football. In his first year of football, he led the GFL with 14 sacks, and racked up 20 tackles for loss and 74 total tackles. He then came to the United States and was signed by Arkansas State University. He is now hoping to get a shot with an NFL team as a linebacker.

Right now, people are not talking about you the way I feel they should. Do you feel you are an underdog?
- Yes, but that’s on me, if I would have picked up football earlier, I would have been a 1-2 round pick a couple of years ago.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
- I am a leader.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
- Homelessness breaks my heart.
Who was your childhood hero?
- My godmother helped our family so much, and we always had the best times growing up when together.
Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?
- Seth Cottengim, was a great teammate, a smart player, and very consistently good Long Snapper.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
- Selfishness. I like to be unselfish, but it’s much harder around self-centered people.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
- Family members sickness. It made me grow up quickly and forced me to step into taking responsibility early on.
Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?
- I trusted in Christ while I was at our University, the very best decision of my life!
What is your favorite snack food?
- Dark chocolate.
The NFL Draft is quickly approaching, If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?
- I am a smart, relentless, fast linebacker with great pass rush ability and a high ceiling.
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?
- Devin White. He plays sideline to sideline and has great blitzing abilities
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
- Jesus, because He is Truth. I don’t need any more dinner guests.
