Rams DT Aaron Donald’s lawyer claims the alleged victim swung a bottle at Donald | Claims his client didn’t commit assault
Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle reportedly attacked a man in Pittsburgh according to the attorney of DeVincent Spriggs. That report came out earlier this week, but now there is a report coming out from Aaron Donald’s attorney saying Donald did not commit assault.
On Friday, Donald’s lawyer said his client has not done anything wrong. Casey White the attorney for Donald told 93.7 The Fan that Donald was at a party, when Spriggs was escorted out of the club for trying to come after the Rams pass rusher. He allegedly jabbed the All-Pro in the back.
When Donald and his brother were leaving the club they were approached again by Spriggs this time, when he tried to swing a bottle at Donald’s head. Witnesses at the crime will confirm this as well according to his report.
White read what he said was an email from the Pittsburgh Police Department corroborating that video evidence shows no sign of Donald assaulting Spriggs. If that’s the case, there shouldn’t be much chance of a criminal case against the Rams star moving forward.
