Quinn Meinerz is NFL Draft DIamonds first ever Small School Prospect of the Year Award Winner! Congrats Quinn!

NFL Draft Diamonds has been working for years with small school prospects with the ultimate dream of becoming an NFL player. This year, Quinn Meinerz from Wisconsin-Whitewater was deemed the NFL Draft Diamonds Small School Prospect of the Year!

It all started last year when DraftGuyJimmy aka Jimmy Williams one of NFL Draft Diamonds scouts fell in love with the film of Quinn Meinerz. Quinn’s tenacity on the field and huge heart off the field have quickly made Quinn an easy selection for our first-ever Award. Quinn when faced with adversity has risen to the challenge and proven over and over again that it is not where you play but rather how well you perform.

Quinn was just a Division 3 prospect when this all started. Many are frustrated when they are given that label. They are told they are too small, the level of competition sucks, and they are considered undrafted prospects. Well, Meinerz was able to prove that small schoolers and D3 prospects can in fact hang with the big dogs. Quinn went to the Senior Bowl where he dominated the best players in the country. NFL teams began swarming him and they continue to call.

Quinn then went to his pro day and absolutely crushed his pro day. He was flying for a big guy. At the end of the day, Quinn has guaranteed himself a draft pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. That is just on the field, but off the field, he is a leader too!

Quinn recently created a T-Shirt design with Milwaukee Shirt Guys to help a family friend and Wisconsin local Alaina. Hugs 4 Alaina is a fundraiser supporting an 11-year-old girl, Alaina Shelsta. She has a rare form of GLUT 1 and needs help finding a life-saving treatment. This is easily one of the coolest things we have seen from a small school football player before he was drafted.

I wanted to find a way to help raise money for a local friend which means a lot to me. Back in Hartford, WI there is a young girl named Alaina who is trying to find a cure for a rare disease. With all the added attention I am getting with the upcoming draft, I wanted to find a way to filter that into something that means a lot to me.

I created a shirt and sweatshirt to showcase The Gut and will be donating 100% of profits to support my friend Alaina. We will be taking pre-orders and all shirts will be delivered before the draft night in late April. If you are looking to support a great cause, and get a great shirt, please consider getting a Belly of the Beast shirt.

I am proud to support this local friend and am donating 100% of profits from all sales to Alaina and her family.

Since Quinn decided to use his Belly as a way to give back, we decided our award would come via a T-Shirt. NFL Draft Diamonds teamed up with Jason Thomas to design a T-Shirt exclusively for Quinn. This is his exclusive Belly of the Beast T-Shirt. Quinn, we cannot thank you enough, and we wish you the best of luck. #TeamDiamond
