On Friday Night, D’Won Fields also known as DJ was shot and killed in his vehicle. An investigation is still underway and people are finally getting arrested.

D’won DJ Fields Jr. had a huge heart, and was a football player for Bluffton High School in South Carolina. That was not the only thing, DJ was a manager for the basketball team and a die hard Philadelphia Eagles fan. Well, unfortunately DJ is no longer with us.

D’won Fields Jr. aka DJ was shot and killed on Friday.

The report states that police arrived at the scene of a single-vehicle crash when they discovered the vehicle had been in a shooting.

DJ died on the scene, while a 16-year-old remains in the hospital, while an 18-year-old has since been released, according to police.

His football coach John Houpt was heartbroken when he spoke to WTOC News.

”I’ve been crying all day,” said Bluffton High School Head Football Coach John Houpt. “He was like a son. I’ve known him pretty much his whole life. He such a high character kid. Cared about everybody loved everybody. Help everybody and was always there for teachers, students, coaches. He’s just an unbelievable person.”

Two suspects were arrested and warrants for two others have been obtained.

Bluffton police officers arrested two suspects yesterday on charges of accessory after the fact of murder, which is a felony, for their involvement. The two suspects are Bluffton resident Jayden Void and Orangeburg resident Shayniah Void. Both are 18 years old, are currently in the Beaufort County Detention Center, and are being held on $1,000,000 bonds.

Bluffton Police Department investigators have obtained arrest warrants for two more suspects, Ty Leic Dae Jhon Channeyfield, 17, and Jimmie Green, 19. The warrants include charges of possession of a weapon during a violent crime, murder, and attempted murder (x2) for each suspect, according to WJCL.
