Connecticut high school football player Ronde Ford was shot and killed on Wednesday

Ronde Ford the former running back and safety for New London High School was shot and killed in Connecticut.

Ronde Ford an aspiring rapper and solid high school football player in Connecticut was shot and killed on Wednesday Night.

The police responded to a report of shots fired and an injured person in the roadway and found the 17-year-old young football player. Ford was pronounced dead at the scene.

James Ford, the father of Ronde told news outlets his family was extremely smart, extremely athletic. Ford said his son was a football player and had aspirations to be a rapper. He just recently started making music.

No one is in custody. Anyone with information about and/or video concerning the shooting should call the New London Police Department’s detective bureau at 860-447-1481.

Ford played football at New London High School. Ford played running back and safety for the school.
