Juland, a transfer from Springfield, was a running back and cornerback and had made the all-district team.

According to police, Lafortune died after he was shot on the 1300 block of Avondale Drive just off of Ashland City Road around 11 p.m. Friday.  Police said that Juland died from a gunshot wound at the hospital.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Detective Lee at 931-648-0656, ext. 5295. This is another senseless murder of a young student athlete. If you have any information please call.

Juland was a stud at running back and dominated last year. He was a little guy standing at 5’7 and only weighing 160 pounds. He was heading into his junior year. He played both sides of the ball and was a playmaker at the corner position as well.
