NFL Trade Predictions: Derek Carr to Panthers, Raiders land Deshaun Watson in crazy three way trade
There have been several rumors that the Raiders would entertain calls for veteran quarterback Derek Carr and this makes too much sense. In the article by Vincent Bonsignore, he said the Raiders could be going after Deshaun Watson so I thought why not come up with a trade that would send Watson to the Raiders.
So I broke it down and Carolina Panthers were the one team that helped me complete the trade. So let’s look at the overall trade.
Carolina Panthers receive Raiders QB Derek Carr and a 2021 2nd round pick from Raiders
Las Vegas Raiders receive Texans QB Deshaun Watson
Houston Texans receive Carolina’s 1st round pick in 2021 (8th overall) and Raiders 1st round pick (17th overall) and EDGE Maxx Crosby
The Raiders want to land a star quarterback but that is going to cost them. What does it end up costing the Raiders? It ends up costing them a 1st, a 2nd and EDGE rusher Maxx Crosby.
The Panthers land a veteran quarterback and a 2nd round pick, and the Raiders get their star quarterback.
