We are learning that former CFL standout linebacker Wynton McManis is signing a futures deal with the Saints.

McManis was there for a limited time during camp. He signed right after CFL season was cancelled.

McManis played at the University of Memphis and was signed by the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2016.

McManis broke out in 2019 with 15 starts and 86 combined tackles, including nine stops on special teams. He shined in the CFL with his efforts in the game’s third phase, having paced the league with 25 special teams tackles in 2018.
