Six teenagers arrested for the murder of high school football player Taeven Moshier in Connecticut

Taeven Moshier #21 and the wide out/safety for John F. Kennedy High School in Connecticut was shot and killed by a group of teenagers.

Police are making arrests in a shooting of a 17 year old high school football athlete, after he was brutally killed.

Taevan Moshier reportedly was going to visit a female when several teens with weapons fought with Moshier and began to rob him. He then began to shoot Moshier and fled in a vehicle.

A 17-year-old boy received several charges including murder, unlawful discharge of a firearm, and weapons in a motor vehicle.

Two more 17-year-old boys, a 16-year-old girl, and a 16-year-old boy were also arrested and are facing robbery and assault charges.

Tuesday, Jan. 26. police arrested a sixth teen in connection to the death of Taevan. The sixth arrest is a 16-year-old boy facing charges of robbery and assault.

Police are continuing to investigate.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Waterbury Police Detective Bureau at (203) 574-6941.
