2021 NFL Draft Prospect: Mac Jones, QB, University of Alabama
Alabama has been a powerhouse in the SEC for years, but it seems like every quarterback that enters the NFL from Alabama has struggled at the QB position. Well that changes with Mac Jones.
The underclassmen would be crazy to not declare after the National Championship Game. According to PFF, Mac Jones has the highest passing great at 95.5 this year. He has a higher rank than Zach Wilson, Justin Fields and Trevor Lawrence.
Jones is a 6030 gunslinger that weighs 214 pounds. He has completed 275 of his 357 passes and has racked up 4036 passing yards. He has also added 36 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions druing 12 games this year.
Jones is a first team All-American, a first team SEC QB and the Davey O’Brien Award winner already. Jones has some star wide receivers on his team that will also be leaving this year. Both Jaylen Waddel and Heisman winner DeVonta Smith will be leaving along with Najee Harris in the back field.
Jones would be crazy not to leave. He has turned into a first round pick and at this point he maybe one of the best quarterbacks to come out. I feel he has great arm strength and he has ice in his veins. He rebounds well from adversity and I cannot wait to see what he does against Ohio State.

Mac Jones is a first round pick, and the most talented quarterback coming out of a Alabama in a very long time. I feel Jones is a better quarterback than Tua Tagovailoa and I feel he will be a first rounder. He was in the Heisman race, and his teammate won the award. Jones is a big time player with confidence.
