NFL Draft Prospect Interview: Jordan Bass, TE, Campbellsville University

Jordan Bass the talented and physical tight end from Campbellsville University recently sat down with NFL Draft Diamonds owner Damond Talbot.

What is the best restaurant in your hometown city? 

• El Potrero Cantina & Grill

When breaking down your film what will stick out? 

• The ability to sustain blocks as well as seeing I have good hands. 

If you won the lotto, what is the first thing you would do with the money? 

• Give back to the kids in my hometown 

What has been your biggest failure? 

• To not take risk and sometimes second guess myself making mental mistakes. 

Who is the hardest working teammate on your team?

• I got a few but I’d really say Anthony Sams the work he puts into this game is incredible.

Have you ever had a nickname? What is it?

• Yes, My family calls me Jordy or Jordy bop Jordy is to shorten my name even though it’s simple but the bop came from me walking around the house as a kid always rocking to music. 

What is your degree in, if you do not make it as a football player, what is your dream job? 

• My major is Criminal Justice! My dream job is to be a state trooper.

What is your coolest life moment? 

• Coolest life moment had to be Whenever I realized I was a role model to kids where I’m from. Where I’m from you don’t want to be another person of the statics that didn’t make it out. 

What song would you sing at Karaoke night? 

• It would probably have to be “If I ever fall in love” by Shai 

If you could pick any actor to play you in a movie, who are you picking? 

• Terry Crews 

Who is your favorite football team? 

• I’m a Minnesota Vikings fan

If you had a warning label, what would yours say?

  • Lethal Weapon 

What is your biggest fear? 

• To know I didn’t accomplish my dream or that I didn’t at least try.

Who is the most underrated player in the NFL? 

• In my opinion I honestly believe it’s Michael Gallup from the cowboys. He is a total dog and he really don’t get enough credit. 

Take us through game day, How do you prepare? 

• On game days I gotta make sure I foam roll to get lose, go get taped, then I put in my music I listen to 2 pac, meek mill, and lil Wayne on game days while I’m stretching on the field and running routes. Then I go inside get my mind right for the game and then it’s show time. 

Do you have any hobbies? 

• For hobbies I like to enjoy the outdoors some have bond-fires, and fish a little bit. 

If you had to compare yourself to someone in the NFL, who would that be? 

• I would honestly say Jared Cook from the saints to play the dominant position we play we are big guys and you gotta be able to block and catch

Who has been the biggest influence on your life and explain why?

• My parents! They have pushed me through this journey and believed in me every step of the way even when I didn’t wanna believe in myself. 

What motivates you to work hard?

• All the people back at home that not only look up to me, but supports me, not just with football but life. I don’t ever wanna let those people down.
