Texans GM Nick Caserio would be crazy to send Deshaun Watson to the Dolphins, right?
Today Chris Mortensen from ESPN came out with an interesting story from Texans QB Deshaun Watson. The report said that Watson is very unhappy and he is angry with the team and their ownership when they failed to interview Chiefs OC Eric Bienemy.
Well, then Mort followed it up with a tweet saying he would consider the Miami Dolphins in which the Texans would receive Tua and more.
There is no way Nick Caserio would make this move. I would be shocked if the Texans would trade Watson to the Dolphins, unless he was getting the third overall pick as well. Caserio is no dummy, and after watching Tua this past year, I cannot think of any team willing to give up a star quarterback for him.
If the Texans make this move, they deserve to be moved to the Arena Football League. There I said it for you.
To be honest, with Tua’ name being thrown in trade talks is almost as bad as pulling him out the game the minute he makes a mistake. He is already getting toyed with by the Dolphins. This talk will not help either. Josh Rosen 2.0? OUCH
