Former Notre Dame and NFL player Taylor Dever has died at the age of 31
Notre Dame lost an alum this week when former Fighting Irish offensive tackle Taylor Dever died at the age of 31.
Taylor Dever was a part of the 2007 recruiting class for Notre Dame and came from Nevada City, California. He spent 5 years with the Irish — the first three under Charlie Weis and the last two with Brian Kelly where he developed into a starter.
In 2012, Taylor Dever took part in the NFL Scouting Combine, and while he would end up going undrafted, he would still be signed by the Dallas Cowboys. After getting released by the Cowboys he was claimed off waivers by the San Diego Chargers.
Please keep the Dever family in your prayers during this tough time.
