Ravens TE Mark Andrews has had no negative consequences when dealing with COVID-19
As we all know Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews tested positive for COVID-19 last week and many players around the league have. The difference between Andrews and the others around the league is Mark suffers from Type 1 diabetes.
As we have all heard contracting COVID-19 can lead to other complications for people with diabetes. Today, head coach John Harbaugh said that Andrews has not had any of them at this point.
“I’ve not heard of any negative consequences in terms of the diabetes with Mark so that’s a positive,” Harbaugh said, via Jeff Zrebiec of TheAthletic.com.
This is great news. The only bad thing is Andrews will likely miss the next game because he contracted COVID-19 so late. He will have to be quarantined for 10 days.
