Former Ravens draft pick Lorenzo Taliaferro dies from a heart attack at 28 years old
I have covered many football players over the years but none more humble than Lorenzo Taliaferro. The firmer Coastal Carolina big back died last night to an apparent heart attack. He was just 28 years old.
Taliaferro was transported at 3:30 p.m. ET to Riverside Doctors’ Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. We have heard he passed away due to a heart attack.
A fourth-round draft pick by Baltimore in 2014, Taliaferro ran for 339 yards and scored five touchdowns in 19 games for the Ravens from 2014 to 2016.
Taliaferro was a beast at Coastal Carolina and I am sure he was proud of the Chants this year. This is such a tragic loss. Please do me a favor and keep Zo’s family in your prayers at this time.
