Texas high school football player ejected from the game, and he viciously tackles the ref (VIDEO)
I have been watching football my entire life, and there have been some pretty crappy calls over my time. I am not sure what happened on this play, but a player from a Texas High School was ejected from the game, and his response was awful.
Multiple videos from a YouTube stream show an ejected Edinburg HS player, Emmanuel Duron, running back onto the field from the sidelines to slam an official.
Daniel Gotera on Twitter posted the video of the player running back on the field, and bull rushes through the referee.
I am sorry but this game should have been canceled right then. You have to protect your refs. This player should not be allowed to play football until he learns respect.
Duron was escorted out of Richard R. Flores Stadium in Edinburg by Edinburg CISD police officers while the official was evaluated in an ambulance for concussion symptoms.
