Professional Woman’s football player Brittany Stevenson shot over 20 times and killed in New Orleans
Brittany Stevenson was just 26 years old, and she was quite the player on the football field. Hippies are a women’s professional football team, in New Orleans, in which Stevenson played defense. In the 2018-2019 season, Stevenson led the team in sacks.
On December 8th, police discovered Brittany Stevenson’s body in the driver’s seat of her car in the 6000 block of Music Street. More than 20 shots may have been applied to the car, according to a report.
Stevenson leaves behind a young daughter. Stevenson was the second woman on his team to be murdered this year.
The Hippies are now offering a 25-hundred dollar reward for information.
And Stevenson’s family has set up a GoFundMe page to raise the money for a proper burial.
No arrests have been made in this case. If you have information, call Crimestoppers. Please keep the family and friends in your prayers.
