The Fantasy Football Friday FLEX is where we name our FLEX Play of the Week. And for Week 13 the FLEX Play of the Week is…
FLEX Play of the Week: Breshad Perriman, WR, NY Jets
I thought about putting Denzel Mims here because the Raiders secondary isn’t good to begin with and should be without starting CB Damon Arnette because of a concussion making the matchup more interesting. Perriman has been a Top 15 WR since Week 9 and kept the good times rolling with Sam Darnold last week after running circles on teams with Joe Flacco. He has scored 10+ fantasy points in each of his last 3 games and has 3 total TDs in that span. Last week, he had 8 targets, which ties his season high, but Perriman also had 4 targets of 20-plus air yards and caught 2 of those, both also season highs. The Raiders have allowed five Top-20 fantasy WRs in their last 5 games combined. Perriman does come with some boom-or-bust in him but given the way he’s been playing and the matchup, he is an upside flex option this week. Think back to last year at the end of the year in Tampa Bay when he went on a hot streak. This is what Perriman does.
Production Prediction: 6 catches for 93 yards and 1 TD
