5 Great Landing Spots For BYU QB Zach Wilson

BYU QB Zach Wilson NFL Draft 2021
BYU quarterback has become the hottest quarterback in college football. NFLHeads break down which team should consider drafting him in 2021?

NFL Draft Heads are all of a flutter about young star Zach Wilson from Brigham Young University. Although I myself am not a big College Football watcher, however, I have watched Wilson play multiple times, and am frankly amazed by what I am seeing. So without further ado, let’s go over the best landing spots for quarterback Zach Wilson.

Just a note, even though the Jets need a quarterback, Wilson is so damn good that I refuse to let him be polluted by the Jets’ system. Sorry Jets fans.

  1. Atlanta Falcons

As much as I adore Matt Ryan (which is a lot), no good thing can last forever, and Ryan is not getting any younger. Wilson would not be an instant starter in Atlanta, but having him as a developmental talent would be incredible for the Falcons. I think this would be especially beneficial for the Falcons to have another mobile quarterback, Matt Ryan has not exactly been a second version of Michael Vick as far as running is concerned.

  1. San Francisco 49ers

Jimmy Garoppolo just is not working out in San Fran, and if you’re looking for the next big star, look no further for here is Wilson to save the day at last. Wilson gives the Niners a pop to their offense that Garoppolo no longer gives them. Just think if Kalani Sitake was able to make Wilson this good, what can Kyle Shanahan, one of the best coaches in the world, be able to do with him?

  1. Jacksonville Jaguars

The first step after firing Doug Marrone is to get some pressure on Gardner Minshew, and while you could accomplish this with Trevor Lawrence or even Trey Lance, Wilson would be a great option to push Minshew out of the way if he continues to not play well. Unless of course sixth round pick Jake Luton takes the NFL by storm and wins the MVP next year.

  1. Minnesota Vikings

This year, Kirk Cousins is the worst quarterback in the NFL, and if I am the Vikings front office I would want him to be replaced immediately. Taking a flyer on Wilson would be not only safe, but smart. Wilson would be a lot more accurate, and hopefully have better prime time ability.

  1. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers offense is always humming, and just think of how much more it could be revved up with Zach Wilson, who is much younger and much faster than Big Ben. Tomlin is another coach that I could see making Wilson a star in the league, and just think of how special a Wilson-Claypool connection would be.
