Fantasy Duds: Week 8 NFL players that did not show up to play in Fantasy

Tua Tagovailoa fantasy duds
Dolphins were able to get a huge win, but Tua was not the biggest threat in Fantasy Football. Many were hoping for huge points but that did not happen.

We thought after week 8 of the National Football League it would be important to breakdown the top players at each position who forgot to show up in Fantasy Football. There were some insane football games in week 8, some that went down to the and some that had teams winning we did not expect. Let’s break down the top 5 fantasy duds of week 8.

Quarterback

Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins – Good thing the Dolphins did not need Tua to be on point. The Dolphins team came together and helped the rookie in his first career start. Tua went 12/22 for 93 yards and a touchdown.

Running Back

Todd Gurley, Atlanta Falcons – Falcons ran the ball 18 times for 46 yards and scored once. The Falcons running back was able to get the win but the Panthers defense really held Gurley in check.

Wide Receiver

Adam Theilen, Minnesota Vikings – The Vikings number 1 receiver had just three receptions for 27 yards. Both he and Justin Jefferson were shut down but they did not need to shine, they won. Still it hurt in Fantasy.

Tight End

Darren Waller, Las Vegas Raiders – The Raiders need to get him the ball more, I am not sure what is going on with their offense right now. He finished the game with 5 receptions for 26 yards but was targeted 6 times. He should have at least 100 yards a week.

Defense/Special Teams

Tennessee Titans – WHERE ARE YOU AT? Joe Burrow and company ate all game against you. Burrow finished with 249 yards passing and dropped two nice touchdown passes. The Bengals also rushed for two touchdowns and beat the Titans without Joe Mixon.
