Florida QB Kyle Trask is a real candidate for the Heisman Trophy
Last week, I had to go to the Florida Gators game to see if the hype was for real on QB Kyle Trask. I watched the Gators gunslinger absolutely annihilate the Arkansas secondary.
I wanted to see him up close and personal because he was going to be without his top target. Kyle Pitts was lost after a devastating blow across the middle in which the defender was penalized. Pitts has been the number 1 wide out in Florida, but I wanted to see how Trask would adjust, and let me tell you something, #11 is the real deal.
Trask has been hanging around Heisman Watch all season, but for the first time this season, I think he should be in the lead. Yes, I said it.
Trask threw all over Arkansas. He put up his sixth straight game with 4 touchdown passes and he didn’t just throw 4, he threw five against Arkansas. He threw for 356 yards total.
There is no doubt in my mind that Trask is a real contender. He dropped some dimes this week. His throw in the endzone was the prettiest throw to Grimes. It was damn near perfect. Only his wide out could catch it. I am telling you Trask is legit, and at the end of the day, the Florida Gators are legit.
