2021 NFL Draft Prospect: Jackson Carman, OT, Clemson University

Jackson Carman Clemson Draft Breakdown
Clemson offensive lineman Jackson Carman is a beast on the Tigers offensive line. He is a mammoth of a man with a mean streak. I’m a fan.

Jackson Carman was the number 1 offensive tackle in the country when he came out of high school in 2018. The Clemson Tigers have a beast in Carman. Carman stands at 6’6 and is the man on the Tigers O-line.

He is a mean blocker, I love mean blockers. I have never understood how a person this big could be a teddy bear. Well, I am here to tell you Jackson Carman is not a teddy bear. He is a damn Grizzly.

The only player I have watched that gave Carman any struggles was Chase Young. Young was a top 5 pick. Not many players at the next level are a freakish of athletes as Chase Young.

When I break down film of Carman I see a top 50 pick. He is a monster at 345 pounds and his hand strikes look like a professional boxer. When it comes to running the ball, this dude flattens his opponents. He is a mammoth and to me one of the best lineman in the draft.

Does Carman remain at tackle or does he go inside at the next level? That is a good question, but I honestly believe he can handle both positions with ease. He is a stud.

NFL Draft Diamonds Scouting Notes

Clemson offensive lineman Jackson Carman is a man among boys even at the college level. If you watch his high school film it was sad. He abuses everyone going up against him. He has done the same thing at the college level as well. Carman is a special player and a road grader. You are not going to bull rush this kid. You will have to beat him with moves and speed, because that bull rush will not go through this kid. Period – Damond Talbot, NFL Draft Diamonds, Owner
