Son of Houston Police Officer scores a touchdown a day after his father was shot to death (VIDEO)
As a law enforcement officer myself, this story really moved me. Sargent Sean Rios of the Houston Police Department was shot and killed on Monday outside a motel on the North Freeway in Houston.
He left behind four children, but he has to be smiling down today. One day after being shot to death, his son played in a Junior Varsity Game because he felt his father would have wanted him to suit up and play.
The cool thing, is his son scored a touchdown. You can see the video below, it was captured by KHOU.com.
The best part was Sgt. Rios brothers in blue came to the game to support his son. They even flew a helicopter over the field to let his son know they were there to support him. The Younger Rios made a huge play and the Houston PD really came through. This is the best story you will read today. Rest in Peace Sgt. Rios! We at NFL Draft Diamonds would like to send prayers to the family.
