3 Weekly Sleepers

  1. Nick Foles/ QB/ Chicago Bears: This is a weird one. I like Foles on Monday Night Football against a Minnesota defense that isn’t as scary as previous seasons. I especially like Foles if David Montgomery is out because then we are looking at a potential 50 pass night. Minnesota has allowed the 7th most fantasy points to Qbs this season.
  2. Duke Johnson/ RB/ Houston Texans: Duke Johnson gets a revenge game against the Cleveland Browns. With David Johnson likely to miss this game due to a concussion Duke Johnson is looking at an increased workload in a pretty good matchup. Duke Johnson could turn in a Giovani Bernard type performance.
  3. Kalen Ballage/ RB/ LA Chargers: Yes sir, it is Kalen Ballage Time. Justin Jackson suffered a knee injury last week, Austin Ekeler is still battling hamstring issues and Joshua Kelley has been super ineffective so that leaves Ballage as the dude. This week he gets the Dolphins and follows that up with the Jets a pair of revenge games for Ballage. He is a volume-based option for those in need.

3 Weekly Fades

  1. Kirk Cousins/ QB/ Minnesota Vikings: It is a rollercoaster with Cousins. Sometimes he is good and sometimes he is bad and that is on the same drive. Never mind what he does to you over the course of a game. Also, Dalvin Cook has been blazing over the last few weeks so why should they go away from Cook? Also, the Bears don’t give up huge passing numbers.
  2. All Dolphins RBs: Jordan Howard and Salvon Ahmed aren’t going to get the job done forcing Tua to toss the rock around. The Chargers are also more vulnerable through the air so the Dolphins should attack there. Even with a desire to run the ball, I would advise against playing and Dolphins RBs.
  3. All Colts WRs: T.Y. Hilton, Zach Pascal, Michael Pittman Jr and Marcus Johnson are all too risky to play in fantasy football. It is tough to predict is going to play because of injuries within the group and also there is inconsistency in the target leader weekly. Until further notice just leave them alone.
