Fantasy Duds: Week 9 NFL players that did not show up to play in Fantasy
We thought after week 9 of the National Football League it would be important to breakdown the top players at each position who forgot to show up in Fantasy Football. There were some insane football games in week 8, some that went down to the and some that had teams winning we did not expect. Let’s break down the top 5 fantasy duds of week 9.
Quarterback
Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Tom Brady held to three points and they added Antonio Brown? Tom Brady met his kryptonite, it was Drew Brees. He finished the game with 209 yards and 3 interceptions. He did not throw a touchdown all game. That is rough.
Running Back
Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas Cowboys – He ran the ball 18 times and finished the game with 51 yards. He needs to step up, he is getting paid and he has been MIA all year. He averaged 2.8 yards and did not get in the box. Come On Zeke step up.
Wide Receiver
Corey Davis, Tennessee Titans – The Titans wide out went off one week then this week he was targeted three times and had zero receptions for zero yards. Only two wide outs caught a ball on the Titans roster this week.
Tight End
Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens – 3 for 22? What is going on? I need Mark Andrews to eat, and you do too. The Ravens passing offense has been lackluster to say the least. Lamar Jackson only had 170 yards passing and zero touchdowns. That offense is not moving right now.
Defense
Seattle Seahawks Defense – The Seahawks were shredded yesterday. The Buffalo Bills scored the most points all year. They put up 44 points on the Seahawks defense. Jamal Adams came back as well as Rasheem Green and they could not stop the Bills passing attack.
