Fantasy Duds: Week 12 NFL players that did not show up to play in Fantasy

Darren Waller Fantasy duds week 12
Raiders tight end Darren Waller is one of the most targeted tight ends in the NFL, and this week he did not come through. The Raiders as a unit struggled.

We thought after week 12 of the National Football League it would be important to breakdown the top players at each position who forgot to show up in Fantasy Football. There were some insane football games in week 12, some that went down to the and some that had teams winning we did not expect. Let’s break down the top 5 fantasy duds of week 12.

Quarterback

Cam Newton, New England Patriots – The Patriots won but it was not because of the amazing quarterback play. Newton went 9-18 for 84 yards and 2 interceptions. It was a rough showing but they got the win!

Running Back

Dalvin Cook, Minnesota Vikings – Cook has been on my Fantasy Studs list the last several weeks in a row, and this week he transitions to the Fantasy Duds after running the ball 18 times for just 61 yards and not scoring a touchdown, but fumbling once.

Wide Receiver

Stefon Diggs, Buffalo Bills – Diggs is another player that has been balling all year but this week he shut down the entire first half without a reception. The Chargers did a great job at getting after Josh Allen. Diggs finished with 7 receptions for 39 yards and did not score a touchdown.

Tight End

Darren Waller, Las Vegas Raiders – Waller is a guy that has been tearing it up all year, he had a bad week in week 12. He finished with 4 receptions for just 23 yards.

Defense

Las Vegas Raiders – Y’all let Atlanta put a forty burger on y’all. That is not fair. The Raiders sacked Matt Ryan just once all day and were able to get him to throw an interception. The sad thing is the Raiders offense is to blame. The Raiders defense was backed up against the wall all game, and they got whooped.
