Predicting a trade: Washington sends QB Dwayne Haskins to the Cowboys for a 5th round pick

Dwayne Haskins Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys need to call the Washington Football team and offer a late round pick for QB Dwayne Haskins. Why not?

Trading a quarterback in the division is usually a no-no, but Washington needs to get rid of Dwayne Haskins and at this point, the Washington Football Team need to get something for Haskins.

I think the Cowboys would be crazy not to pull the trigger on Haskins. The Cowboys are a good team they have tons of talent but they are just not winning. Haskins is better than Ben DeNucci, and I think he needs a fresh opportunity.

The Dallas Cowboys have Dak Prescott and Andy Dalton on their roster and both of them are free agents at the end of the day. What happens if Dak decides to test the market?

The Cowboys can tag him again, but Dak could end up holding out. The Cowboys need to find a good back-up, and with Andy Dalton being out, they need to make a trade for Haskins.

Haskins was a beast coming out of Ohio State. He claimed the single season passing and touchdown records for Ohio State and the Big Ten by eclipsing the 4,000-passing yards mark and throwing 50 touchdowns, making him just one of six NCAA quarterbacks to ever achieve the latter in a single season.

Haskins NFL career is not that impressive, but he does have 11 touchdowns to 10 interceptions. He has thrown for 2,304 yards and has a passer rating of 78.2 percent. I think the Cowboys would be nuts not to give up a pick for Haskins.
