Chiefs, Bengals, 49ers and Jaguars all have shown interest in CB DeAndre Baker
Yesterday, DeAndre Baker the former Georgia Bulldog and first round pick of the New York Giants had all criminal charges against him dropped.
Baker was released by the New York Giants after he was arrested in May for multiple counts of armed robbery and aggravated assault. Remember, Baker was taken in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Baker is just 22 years old and after the charges were dropped, four teams have shown quite a bit of interest.
Giants are not in on DeAndre Baker.
Teams interested: Chiefs, Bengals, 49ers and Jaguars. https://t.co/HS3pPAknVO— Paul Schwartz (@NYPost_Schwartz) November 16, 2020
According to Paul Schwartz of the New York Post, the Chiefs, Bengals, 49ers and Jaguars have all expressed interest.
Any team that is not showing interest is crazy at this point. Especially since, Baker was cleared of the incident. A matter of fact, the victims attorney was arrested (William Dean), for trying to extort the former NFLer.
