Breaking: Steelers signed TE Charles Jones II to their practice squad
The Pittsburgh Steelers are signing former Tulane tight end Charles Jones II to their practice squad. He played 40 games and 22 starts for Tulane.
The 6040, 255 pound pass catcher has 40 career receptions for 268 yards and 5 touchdowns.
The New Orleans, Louisiana native was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent.
Jones was recently released by the Jaguars. He was on the injured reserve and was released with an injury settlement, and also signed to the Buffalo Bills practice squad. The Bills released him a week or two ago. Jones just left a workout with the Patriots, but is signing to the Steelers PS!
